SK definitely would have won last year had the scrimmage counted and I’m sure has a big OL led by Selm and some good athletes. 

Anyway I think Cov Cath wins, but we can’t come out flat and let them hang around.

Last week we took a little bit to get things solidified up front at the line of scrimmage. I was really proud of the way our guys were able to collect themselves at the half, take their coaching, and make those adjustments when they came out in the 3rd quarter and really execute well. Obviously we had a little trouble getting our running game going in the first half, and this week I really want to focus on getting a little more push up front off the snap and giving Owen the little amount of space he needs to do what he does. Controlling the line of scrimmage is job one every game. That opens the field for our offense and gives Evan the ability to start looking down field to get the ball into the hands of guys like Braylon, Noah, Willie and Oliver. We were really happy with the game Braylon had last week, obviously, and want our guys to execute tomorrow night so we get the opportunity to let some other guys step up in the game like that.

CovCath needs to focus on coming out and putting together four solid quarters of football without taking their foot off the gas. Anybody who thinks we can look past a team with players like Selm and Bohms and the Obers needs to stay on the bus. SK's a nice squad. They had like 7 or 8 guys who ran the ball for them last week. This is a 6A team that has depth. They have like 80 guys on their roster. Teams like that have the ability to put in a fresh pair of legs every play and wear you down. We need to show up to play and be prepared to put out four quarters of hard nosed football, smart football, and get it done.

Brady Lee he was 4/4 83 yards 1 td and 60 yards rushing 1 td in 2 quarters.

Thanks coach, hopefully we can avoid running into stacked boxes with 6 to block 8 so Leen doesn’t have an unblocked defender in the hole that he has to make miss. 

Also would love to see some hots built into the passing game vs pressure so the QB isn’t having to bail us out by making play after play. More stuff like the slant to Miller that he took 65 to the house that got called back and the man beater in the redzone that Leen walked into the end zone (both great play calls by the way).

I think he is out for the game.  Will probably see a combination of Will Michels and Andrew Bessler

I was asking about Simon Kenton's starting quarterback, Brady Lee, who didn't play the second half against Dixie, apparently because of an injury. But that's new news to me about Leen.

Brady Lee played the second half Ober broke his hand.

Wow!  Reading comprehension is not my thing today, struggling across the board. Either that or I shouldn’t be reading this without my glasses.  Yes very unfortunate for Owen, but he will be back next week. There is a chance he could play today.  I think it will be a game time decision. Sorry for the confusion.

Ahhh, gotcha. Thanks for the clarification. That's disappointing to hear for Ober.
