Who will leave/fired/resign/retire the college they are coaching first and Why?

I would have to say that Tubbs will be gone before Pitino. The fan base is much harder to please and he needs to start making some runs in the tourney soon or he'll be outta there.

I think Rick went to a final four recently which has bought him some time and has a more patient fan base.

I don't see Tubby leaving soon, Rick on the other hand likes to move around, seems to be about the right time but I think he feels it necessary to improve the UL program.

I think after Tubby's next (whenever it might be), next Final Four run...he will be outta lexington, and into the NBA.

Good or bad I don't see Tubby going anywhere with the new practice building in place. Rick on the other hand may decide to go full time with horse racing or some other job.

I agree he just doesn't seem to have the same fire that he used to. If he leaves it will be his choice.

I didn't vote in this thread. But if I were to vote I probably would say Tubby, because he would have alot more pressure on him from fans than Pitino would...

I voted Rick because of his track record for not staying at places...obviously Tubby has moved from Tulsa to Georgia to UK, but since he got to UK, he hasn't given the impression of wanting to leave. Rick always seems to be thinking about leaving...of course, he's getting older, so it's not like he's going to be moving around much anymore. Who knows?

I don't see either of them getting out of town anytime soon (5 or more years) and as long as their happy they have no reason to.. However Rick has nothing to prove and I could see him retiring before Tubby.

My view too. He will decide he has not the energy it takes anymore and will move onto television.

 

Tubby will be around for at least another 10 years.
