It was just, meh, not Hanks' best in my opinion.

"Inside" with Willem DaFoe.

Think "Castaway", but in a luxury penthouse instead of an island.  

Solid, not great, some cool opportunities for introspection during and after, but if you want action and sizzle, it isn't for you.

 

Above Suspicion(Netflix)- Set in Pikeville based on true events. Pretty decent not great but worth the watch if you like true story docudrama type movies.

I remember when the story came out, so I knew how it was going to end.

I actually liked it.  Was very emotional, so grab some tissues.

I thought it looked "interesting" but I can't think of hardly any movie Tom Hanks has done that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.  Hell, he made us all cry when he lost his volleyball while playing  a grown man trapped on an island by himself.  

Just finished "Air." I like movies and documentaries that show behind the scenes of events, so I enjoyed this movie.

Don't watch it expecting to see a depiction of MJ. He has a miniscule part in this movie.

I watched "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once" this weekend.  It is something else.  The ending / message make the movie worth watching, but man it has some really odd sequences.  I will say the woman who played Evelyn was INCREDIBLY deserving of her Oscar for best actress.

Just caught the remake of White Men Can't Jump. I honestly was bored and intended to watch until losing interest. Ended up finishing it, which surprised me...lol.

While it isn't going to win any awards, it wasn't as horrible as I expected. Harlow does a pretty good job and the rest of the cast isn't bad. It's not a direct remake of the original story but more of a reboot with a similar storyline, set today.

Knock at the Cabin Door.  Don't waste your time, not one of Shyalaman's best.
