I'm not sure what someone is trying to sell here, but I'm not buying until more facts are shown.

However if this proves to be true, the seller in gone.

@4 Quarters Care to elaborate?  I'm not trying to sell anything and I'm not sure what facts you are looking for (See screenshot above). All of the coaches and players have screenshots of the post he made on his Insta account directly following a hard loss by the basketball team. Are you possibly defending that?

Good old social media, I was not referring to you as the seller, that would be Mr. Johnson.  I'm just saying that I don't believe this, that there will be more to follow.  Can't believe the man would do that, all though I have no knowledge of who he is.

Keep us posted, didn't mean to ruffle your feathers.

Ah, gotcha.  Makes sense and no worries. No ruffled feathers here. Just misunderstanding.

Who is Charles Johnson and where is he from?  I know pretty much about NKY football and officiated and coached for decades, and I don't recall him.

Must not have been too involved in the early 2000’s. Pretty big name in NKY then.

I did move away, but please refresh my mind.

Played at Lloyd then onto EKU and eventually Grand Valley State. 7th round pick by the Packers and played for the Vikings too. Played 4-5 years in the NFL.

From Wikipedia:

Johnson graduated from Lloyd Memorial High School in Erlanger, Kentucky, where he was a four-sport star in football, baseball, basketball and track. He played as a wide receiver for the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts football team. He earned All-state and All-conference honors as a junior and senior. As a junior, he hauled in 26 catches for 600 yards and six touchdowns. In his senior year, he caught 38 passes for 567 yards and five touchdowns.

Johnson was also a star in baseball and track at Lloyd Memorial. Johnson first started playing baseball as a shortstop and pitcher, but switched to football as a junior. In track & field, Johnson lettered all four years competing in sprints and jumps. At the 2007 KHSAA 2A State T&F Meet, he took fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.05 seconds, while also placing third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.13 seconds.[2] In 2010, he captured a regional title in the pole vault after clearing a height of 3.53 meters (11 feet, 6 inches).[3]

Johnson’s one season with Lloyd was riddled with similar issues. Explaining why he was only there one year. The arrogance and disrespect toward the rest of the staff was very divisive.

If he’s a WR coach, what is his issue with the Basketball team not training with him? If I was a HC and my assistant took a public shot at another coach or player from any school he wouldn’t be on my staff anymore. You have to be more mature than that.

I wonder what all of the athletes that train with him and those that he coaches/takes to flag football tournaments are thinking about this?

I’m clueless on this, but is it the timing that makes this an issue here? There were quite a few NKY teams that lost in regionals and don’t train with CJ.

My son played with him a year or two with NKY Stallions semi-pro football.
