Does it really matter? I just stated facts and if Coach Sully was really mad about CCH transfers why in world would he really go back to playing them this year after skipping one year? I know coach Sully directly well enough to know he has never ducked anyone and he does things the right way. The “he said, she said” stuff is typical but pretty funny. 
Should be a fun district and regional tourney.

In my opinion, yes it matters.  It's just more of the "he said, she said" stuff.

CCH is about as frustrating as any team I can remember under Ruthsatz's tutelage. They clearly can beat anyone judging by the good teams they have beaten from KY, OH and FL and other states. They seem bored when they play NKY teams. I have no doubt that they will show up against them when each team has their season/career on the line in a few weeks.

? Fun (?) fact - Cov Cath's team 78.4 FT% ranks second in the state. Highest percentage ever in the "Ruthsatz era."

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t this put Evan on pace to break the record? He only needs 244 more points and has nine regular season games to go, plus it’s pretty much a given CCH will make it to at least the first round of the regionals for a total of 12 more games. If he maintains his average of 25, that would add another 300 and get him there. I’d like to see him do it, as he’s only played three years at CCH vs VonHandorf’s four years. And I think he’s the better of the two. Then again, maybe the 2,000 counts his points when he was at his previous school.

I see what you mean; I did a double take too. 1653 at CCH, 2000 for his career. If the Colonels make it to the Region finals he's on pace for 2000 there. 

I think Evan is in the ballpark for the single season scoring average record - Mike Fessler ~25+ ppg from the early '60s if memory serves.

Bored is the perfect way to say it…..couple that with @Colonels_Wear_Blue comment about CCH getting everyone’s A+ game every single night and also with the palpable uptick in talent in the 9th region, it makes for some close games.  
 

I have zero doubt this trend will continue through the 9th region tourney, but I also have no doubt The Colonels will defend their title and win the 9th Region Tourney.

It’s all so laughably hypocritical as everyone is patiently waiting for this Ohio Transfer to come in and make Cooper “significantly better”, while the comments over the years have made CCH out to be the evil empire for the absolute exact same thing.  So be it.

Bring on whomever as we will too.  Follow the rules, follow the guidelines and then settle it on the floor.  I am sure more schools and more kids will take advantage of this trend and this path.  And I am fine with it.

That’s what CCH does every year and they will this year.

I'm guessing, without giving it much thought, that Scott Ruthsatz (and his 317 wins in 11 seasons) has more Region 9 titles than every other coach in the 9th has combined.  I'd say they've "Brought It" enough to allow them some room to sing about it.
