Great game and tremendous comeback by the Jags after being down 13 to force OT. CCH found a was to close it out made a ton of FTs down the stretch. 
 

One thing for certain there was no quit by the Jags and Cooper will look significantly different come tourney time. 

It was a good game.  As for peaking, you must not be following CCH basketball this year and just assume that because it was a close game, Cooper shot very well behind the 3-point line and rebounded well.  Plus, Sully is a good coach and prepares well for big games.

They lost to Conner, close game at home with Lloyd, close game at home with NL, now a close game at Cooper.  

Yes, I'm aware of Sully, but he's not over loaded with talent this year.

Good question. One thing I would say is that Cov Cath, perhaps moreso than anyone else in the 9th right now, has every single team they play from the region coming at them with the A-game of their A-game and a very particular interest in knocking them off...and when you've got a schedule like the Colonels put together, there's no margin for error.

At the same time, though, the Colonels really seem to struggle to put together 4 quarters of solid basketball against their 9th Region competitors. The Highlands game was the only game I can recall against a viable region title competitor where I felt like Cov Cath played well the entire game. The 9th Region Tournament is certainly gonna be interesting.

This still makes me laugh. Cooper was one of the ringleaders with the other NKY teams that were boycotting Cov Cath on their regular season schedule the last year or two because of Cov Cath transfers....how fantastically hypocritical of them now that getting a big transfer is benefitting THEIR basketball program.

Evan Ipsaro knocked down career point 2,000 last night against Cooper. Evan has 1,653 points at Cov Cath.

Hilarious!! Cooper was a "boycott ringleader?" You know this how about Cooper?  Cooper has played CCH every year since it's establishment in 2008, yet they miss 1 year (in the regular season because they still played in the regionals) and all of the sudden the Jags are salty because of transfers.  Sorry that ship doesn't sail with this school.  CCH has had transfers long before last season so no one at Cooper cares.  You can find someone esle to point that finger at because Coach Sully's teams will line up and play no matter the circumstance. No hypocrisy from the Jaguars camp but you are correct, the transfer you mention will be a benefit to the basketball program ?

Yeah, you're right...honestly, I don't know anything or anyone in NKY high school sports. And nobody of any consequence ever shares any information. Lol
