This is the National Championship game. A lot thought that Georgia may be back to play for back to back titles but TCU was not even ranked to begin the season. They will be the Cinderella team. It will be hard to be as good as the two semi-final games were, but we will see they an early double digit underdog. The game is scheduled for Monday, January 9 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angles on ESPN at 7:30pm.

If Georgia wins, Kirby is elevated to a very elite level of coaches. Few have won multiple titles, even fewer have won back-to-back.

If TCU wins Sonny Dykes goes to the top of every major programs wish list if they have a coaching opening. A few schools would probably fire their current coaches prematurely if they could lure Dykes away.

I'll say TCU 42-35, just because I think a majority will take Georgia.

I could see TCU winning too. Not sure who I'm picking yet, but I expect total points to be around 60. Expect both defenses to play better and if UGA can run the ball at all I think they slow the pace in the title game giving us less possessions and fewer points.

I picked TCU bc I always like a good underdog story. If TCU can not allow the deep pass like they did against Michigan, they have a punchers chance. Duggins isn’t the best passer but he has legs just enough of an arm to keep the Dawgs D honest if it’s a tight game. Hopefully this is a classic like the semis so I don’t stay up past my bed time for nothing.

We will see if TCU is able to get up for that caliber of opponent in consecutive games. As I've always maintained, the underdogs are able to win a game with several weeks preparation, but are they able to do it week-after-week. It's hard. I do think Georgia is a different level of speed an athleticism compared to the Wolverines.

This is what I expect to see. A heavy dose of UGA rushing attack to wear down TCU.
