Who wins and why? I believe this will be the best game in the State this week! LCA is getting healthy at the right time and OC has been playing very good ball since the win vs rival Owensboro.

This game is big. LCA has played a very hard schedule. I look for this game to be high scoring and LCA to come out on top.

Gonna be tight…both have played a solid schedule, Ocath with the best win AND they are at home.

LCA does have a tough schedule but they haven’t beaten anybody that they weren’t suppose to beat. None of there wins stand out to me. Catholic hung tough with them last year for a half. This years O’Cath is better and LCA isn’t as good. Give me the Aces at Steele Stadium by 2 points.

I would take LCA’s record with a grain of salt. They have had the injury bug all year and over the last several weeks have gotten about as healthy as they have been since the start of the year. This game is going to be a barnburner and I can’t wait to see it.

That's true.

But I just think LCA will win this game. Calpreps has this game O'Cath 35 LCA 31.

I picked LCA because I’ve seen them in person over the last few years, and know this is the time of year where they get hot and fire on all cylinders. I won’t be upset if I chose this wrong being a BW Tigers fan. I also won’t be surprised if O-Cath wins. This will be the best game in the state Friday and plays a huge role for the semifinals. Bring on Friday!

I don’t know much about either team honestly. I watched quite a bit of the LCA vs Lex Cath game and idk how injuries plagued their defense but that running back had a field day against them. I think he broke records that game, had huge yardage and like 4 rushing tds. Maybe someone can fill me in on what happened there. I’ll say this though. I rather play LCA at War Memorial next week than to travel to Owensboro for the semis! So go LCA!

Excited to see this one in person. Should be the best game on this side of the state. Also, looking forward to seeing the Cutter Boley vs, Brady Atwell matchup. Two of the best QBs in the state and I think Atwell earns some more statewide respect after this one.

Atwell is one of the best kept secrets State wide.  I think he becomes more of a state wide name after this game.  I think its going to be a close game but I love the power running game that Catholic has and I think it could be very effective against an LCA team giving up close to 150 yards on the ground and chew up some clock and limit the number of possessions LCA has.  Give me the Aces in a 38-35 win in this one.

I’m picking LCA 35-28 in this one!! Cutter Boley should have a good game in this one and just edge Owensboro Catholic.
