Something tells me he'll be back...This draft is just too deep at WR IMO. He would get drafted, but it depends on how high he wants to go.

Ignoring a lot of the nonsense in this thread, this said it all to me:

"I had concerns if I came back, maybe if I had got hurt again next year, could I live out my dream of playing at the next level?" he said Tuesday.

I thought that MAYBE if he was concerned about his draft stock he would return, but he seems at peace with possibly going in the second or third round, so there's no reason for him to stay. Injury next year would possibly have eliminated any chance he had.

I agree, but I'm a little worried. I figured he would have announced it by now considering that fact...I think he could really boost his stock by returning and having a big year, and letting some of these elite talents get out of his way this year. Of course, there is always that injury risk, and he has been prone to it previous to this year. If he goes, I think the injury question would be a huge determining factor.

If he stays, UK is really set up to have an elite and explosive offense next season. A healthy Rafael Little with a healthy Burton and maturing and rising Woodson is an exciting prospect for Cat fans.

Of course, it's still Kentucky...so whatever can go wrong, probably will.

Now that he's gone and you can stop egging him out the door-

Do UK fans really think he made the right decision?

Bush apparently feels that he might go 3rd round if he can't run by March for individual workouts, etc.

I hope that he made the right choice, only time will tell.

I would guess with Bush leaving and petrino gone that Brohm will....

Not sure if he made the right decision but it's one I probably would have made after my coach and QB both bolted.

I know UK fans might be excited about the implications for next September, but as far as I know Brohm has not declared.;)

 Well if Brohm is back... biggest if of the year... he made a bad choice.

But don't you see where we are coming from? This past year all we heard was "This is UK's year," and "UK is closing the gap," and "Micah Johnson is going to put it on UL.".....

They lost by 31 points...

You have to see why were are skeptikal, ESPECIALLY when the game isnt for almost 8 months.

I believe if you go back and review you will see that not many UK fans picked UK to win that game and I don't believe any one on this site said Johnson was going to put it on UL.

Good move by Bush IMO. Another injury would be devastating! I still think he can work his way into the first round if things improve. My only worry is that he won't be able to go all out in the combines. I'd love to see him slip to the Jets!

I had heard he was going and Brohm was staying but that was before Petrino headed out. I'd be really suprised to see Brohm back. He is the Orange Bowl MVP! With Petrino and Bush gone they aren't going to win it all. I see him going too!

Tough week for Cards fans but I think you have to look at Bush and Petrino with a smile on your face as they took UofL to the next level!

I bet if UK beat UL in football, you'd like UK football then...

I'd root for every team in the country outside of tO$U and the Choking Irish over UofL, but that doesn't mean I'm a fan of them.

You didn't hear it from me, but I suppose I can understand.

Likewise, you should be able to see where I'm coming from. Considering that U of L is a different team on the road...see 31-24 two years ago at Commonwealth when they were a far superior team...Petrino is gone and any way you slice it, that is a negative for the Cardinals...Bush is gone, Brohm will likely leave, which is again a negative for the Cards.

Again, not saying UK will win, just that they have a realistic chance which they haven't for the last two or three years, especially considering that they were inches away from tying the game against them at Commonwealth two years ago, when they really weren't supposed to have a chance. The changes at U of L, along with the momentum UK developed this season, makes this a much more interesting game than in the past.

I agree. I think that next season's game has a good chance of a UK victory, although I wouldn't be surprised if UL wins.

More or less I think these losses for the Cards plus the number of returning players for UK who got considerable experience this season will spell a very exciting game which could well be a toss up.
