Michael Bush off to the NFL

We're just used to what goes on around here when UK loses a basketball game...;) :p

 :thumb:

Who said they had to lose the game? Just a close game will suffice...:scared:

There's certainly no need for him to pull the plug and end the fun this soon...
I know I hope he keps going! Truth be told, nothing has set my mind at ease these last few days like talking to UK fans like Wireman here. It brings a smile to my face, reminds me of 2003...:flame:
Good enough for you 5wide? He's not trying to be clever, he's just nuts.

That's not very nice. I don't call you nuts when you make your ridiculous posts about the Big East and U of L. Also, http://www.avatars.com might be of good use for you.

I predict that UK wins next season. It has nothing to do with the past 50 years of Wildcat football. It has to do with the present and the future. That's my opininion and I'm sticking to it. If that kills my "credibility" (which only people with red glasses on would think that it does), then so be it. I'll still say Go Cats and still drink a few Miller Lites and jump up on your kitchen table and scream C-A-T-S Cats Cats Cats.

What can I say...to be a UK football fan you must be an eternal optimist. Otherwise, you'd be on suicide watch.

In all seriousness, it seems UK is looking at it's best chance at victory in several years. It's good for the "rivalry", if it can even be called that anymore. It adds more interest and drama to the game when one team has a realistic shot, as opposed to a "anything can happen" chance.

Of course, if the basketball game can still be called a rivalry, I guess the football can too. ;)

:scared: OK, guys...so maybe he is nuts...:sssh:

I remember it well

John L. leaves, Cards will back slide.

Ragone graduates, Cards can't replace him.

LeFors graduates, Cards can't replace him.

Now maybe none of the particular posters on this board have ever made these claims, or maybe thay have. But go to any of the UK boards and you will see that it has been a pretty commonly held opinion by the Big Blue posters.

So now Bobby Petrino has left and Louisville will suddenly become inferior to UK. I would be more worried about that game if Mitch and Rich hadn't insisted it be game three next year, so thanks guys for giving us that two weeks to get used to a new coach in game settings.

Michael Bush is leaving. If memory serves me correctly he didn't play in but one game this year and it seemed to work out OK. Now the running backs that replaced him will have a years experience. Excuse me if I'm not quite willing to give up the UK game just yet.

And yes, I fully expect that Brian Brohm will opt to go to the league but as I recall we won a few games with Mr. Cantwell so again you'll have to excuse me if I'm not yet willing to concede the win to the Cats.

Your site timed out.

There's nothing credibility-killing about saying UK will win next year. I have some pretty strong arguments against that view, but it's at least possible.

UK beating Louisville by more than 3 TDs? That's crazy talk, and I'll call it like I see it.

But if it offends you, I withdraw the word 'nuts.' I'm perfectly willing to replace it with 'wrong.'

It'll depend alot on their new coach. If he can come in and get his system implemented fast enough, I'll scale it back to 2 touchdowns :ylsuper:

I do think U of L has reached it's peak. I don't expect Kragthorpe to be as good as Petrino, so by default, I expect U of L to slip to some degree. How much is the question...and I don't know. I could be completely wrong anyway. That is in no way a prediction that they will become inferior to UK. Just an opinion that they lost a rare talent of a coach who would be hard for any team to replace and will be hard for U of L to replace. Similar to Tubby taking over for Pitino...there was nowhere to go but down...obviously U of L isn't the national champs, but I think this year is/was as good as they'll ever do and that is winning the Big East and winning their BCS Bowl game. The only thing better would be to win the National Championship, and I don't think that will ever happen.

Anthony Allen, Brock Bolen and George Stripling combined for 144 total yds and 4 TDs against UK.

I just heard that Bolen is transferring out, possibly Mich.St.

A little trouble in paradise...

Yeah, I saw that rumor too...

On Michigan State's scouts message board.

Brock Bolen has already used his redshirt, when he transfered from Illinois to Louisville. He'd only have one year left to play for the Spartans.

If he's that stupid, I don't want him hurting our APR by staying.

Lots of people trolling the Louisville message boards today!

Lots of wild rumors abounding.

How 'bout everyone settle down and let the dust settle?

Seriously! Everyone (well, most everyone) seems to think there will be a mass exodus andthat Bobby Petrino was Moses. :creepy:

Did he part the Watterson Expressway?

I hate it when kids go to a school because of a coach and he runs off leaving them hanging. Good luck in the NFL young Man!!
