January 9, 200719 yr Did he part the Watterson Expressway? Well, I'd have said the Ohio, but he's going the other way!
January 9, 200719 yr I remember it well John L. leaves, Cards will back slide. Ragone graduates, Cards can't replace him. LeFors graduates, Cards can't replace him. Now maybe none of the particular posters on this board have ever made these claims, or maybe thay have. But go to any of the UK boards and you will see that it has been a pretty commonly held opinion by the Big Blue posters. So now Bobby Petrino has left and Louisville will suddenly become inferior to UK. I would be more worried about that game if Mitch and Rich hadn't insisted it be game three next year, so thanks guys for giving us that two weeks to get used to a new coach in game settings. Michael Bush is leaving. If memory serves me correctly he didn't play in but one game this year and it seemed to work out OK. Now the running backs that replaced him will have a years experience. Excuse me if I'm not quite willing to give up the UK game just yet. And yes, I fully expect that Brian Brohm will opt to go to the league but as I recall we won a few games with Mr. Cantwell so again you'll have to excuse me if I'm not yet willing to concede the win to the Cats. Man, I've tried these arguments already, but apparently we're destined for the biggest slide in NCAA history! We're doomed, they say! DOOMED!!!
January 9, 200719 yr UK beating Louisville by more than 3 TDs? That's crazy talk, and I'll call it like I see it. Speaking of crazy talk... I was reminded of (IMO) your craziest post ever. Saying UL would be up by 3 or 4 TDs on UK after 7 or 8 plays two seasons ago.
January 10, 200719 yr Speaking of crazy talk... I was reminded of (IMO) your craziest post ever. Saying UL would be up by 3 or 4 TDs on UK after 7 or 8 plays two seasons ago.The thread has gone to the great football debating place in the sky, and I don't remember the numbers exactly. I'm sure I predicted a greater disparity than actually occured, because Louisville underperformed. I probably was trying to illustrate Louisville's quick scoring potential, which they obviously showed this past September (TD on third play from scrimmage, 28-0 score 20 minutes and 23 plays into the game.)
January 10, 200719 yr Speaking of crazy talk... I was reminded of (IMO) your craziest post ever. Saying UL would be up by 3 or 4 TDs on UK after 7 or 8 plays two seasons ago. Will UK fans EVER get over that moral victory (reality loss) two years ago? Yes Louisville fans thought it would be a blowout BUT Kentucky still lost. Remember your current coach has not led for 1 second of any game he has been on the sidelines against Louisville and if I'm not mistaken the only ties have been 0-0. Any way you slice it that's complete and total domination.

I know... just messing with you too. As for Bush... I wish him the best but from a fan's perspective, I can't say it's the right choice.

Also, no matter how you slice it, UL is 1/12 of our season. I'm not worried that Brooks has never led against them, they have had a few great years while we are trying to rebuild. I certainly feel we are ready to beat them come September. We'll see how it unfolds.

January 10, 200719 yr A little trouble in paradise... Enjoy your schadenfreude. Hmmm. What year is it? 2007? If history is any predictor, it's about time for the Wildcat$ to get another visit from the NCAA's crack team of investigators. I understand they know all the good eateries in Lexington.
January 10, 200719 yr Just a reminder to everyone. BGP Rule #2: No disparaging, taunting, or boastful comments--especially between opponents trying to intimidate each other. This includes name calling or personal attacks toward any member, their username, or school.

January 10, 200719 yr This just in: Reportedly, in the midst of all other rumors flying around about Cardinal football, TheDeuce from Bluegrasspreps.com will be suiting up to play QB for the Cardinals in 2007. 2 is proven to be a roll-out passer with dangerous accuracy, and a knack for finding the open receiver.
