Bullitt East (7-1) will host Male (5-3) after defeating Southern 48-0. Male travels to Bullitt East after defeating Fern Creek 50-0.

This is a big district game as the winner is the #1 seed in the district and the loser will be in playoff bracket with #1 St. X.

A key matchup will be Bullitt East's passing attack against a good Male secondary. Also, will Bullitt East be able to slow or stop RB Daniel Swinney?

Last year Male won 56-8 but will be Bullitt East's best chance to win in what has been a lopsided series in Male's favor.

Does Bullitt East get a big win at home or does Male make it 6 wins in a row over the Chargers?

This will come down to turnovers and unforced errors/penalties.  If Bullitt East can limit their turnovers and unforced errors/penalties, they will be in this game from start to finish.  Likewise, can

Basically the negatives that come with playing tight. Bullitt East can't come out tight against Male. They need to play with the self assuredness of a team that expects to win. Easier said than done a

Bullitt East may be facing a relatively down Male this season, but will be outcoached in a likely 42-21 loss.

After seeing how Bullitt East struggled against Meade County, I will take Male in a running clock.

Bold prediction there with the running clock. I'll be surprised if a running clock but maybe I shouldn't be based on the history of the series.

Outcoached?  Do you know any of the coaches involved outside of Coach Wolfe?

Should I name them to ease your mind?

This will come down to turnovers and unforced errors/penalties.  If Bullitt East can limit their turnovers and unforced errors/penalties, they will be in this game from start to finish.  Likewise, can they actually put some pressure on Male this year defensively, which they haven't done in the past 3 years and force a few turnovers.  I think Male only has 2 turnovers total against BE over the last 5 or 6 games.

BE has the talent to hang in this game and shock some people, but they'll have to play their best game yet to do it.  In all honesty, their best performance so far came in a scrimmage against Ballard.  A duplication of  any of their regular season performances so far won't cut it this Friday.  To make matters more tough, I'm sure Swinney (out at least the last 2 games) & Gainey (hasn't played yet all year) will probably be back, so the Male offense will finally be at full strength.  I couldn't say that East had the talent to compete with Male with 100% confidence in the past 3 years.  This year, I can, but can they and will they are two different things.

Of course I'm biased and fully confident of what these boys and coaching staff can do, so I'll go with 34-31 East.  I'd be kicked out of the house if I didn't. ?

I'd like to know who is on the Male staff.

Do you know enough about both coaching staff's to make that kind of statement?  Or just assuming the more successful team must have better coaches.

Actually, never mind.  It doesn't matter.

Male's top two rushers are Swinney and their qb Cobler.  If BE can slow down the rushing attack, and that's a big "if", I think they can compete.  They just don't have much room for error.  The BE o-line must play the best they have this season.

No chance this is a running clock, but I'd be surprised if Male didn't win.

If East plays like they did with Ballard in the scrimmage, I think they can win this game, if they play like they did against Spencer, I think they get the running clock. Should be an interesting game for sure.
