North Hardin makes the trek to Danville this Friday night to take on Boyle. The Trojans enter the game ranked #15 in 6A with a 3-2 record while Boyle enters as the #1 team in 4A with a 5-0 record. Last week North Hardin defeated John Hardin 40-14 while Boyle beat Bowling Green 35-21. Last season saw Boyle winning at North Hardin by a score of 49-6. Boyle leads the all time series between the teams 3-1. Both teams have a common opponent this season in Bowling Green. North Hardin lost to Bowling Green in the first game of the season 23-14 and as previously mentioned Boyle beat Bowling Green last week.

Keys to the game:

-Boyle has to build on the progress the OL showed last week and continue to make improvements week after week.

-Boyle has got to clean up the penalties. Far too many false starts or offsides for the 5th game of the season.

-North Hardin has to stay balanced offensively. In their wins they were very balanced between run and pass and could keep the defense guessing. In their losses either the run game or the passing game was subpar.

-North Hardin must find a way to neutralize Quisenberry for Boyle. He finds a way every week to be an impact player and seems to be getting better each week as he gets comfortable playing in Boyle’s system.

It looks to be a great night for football this Friday! As always let us know what your take is on the game.

Boyle County by 3 or 4 scores.

Boyle's defense is too strong. Boyle with a running clock.

I agree with @burreaux.  North just too one dimensional.  BG has improved since the North game and needed to in order to play Boyle to 2 TDs.  North Hardin #3 and their QB are good players, but Boyle has Quisenberry and their QB.  Everything else says Boyle rolls.  But need a cleaner penalty flag sheet.

I’ll take Boyle County with a running clock in the 2nd half. I think Boyle County will clean up the penalties and execute their plays a little more efficiently this week.

North Hardin runs up against the immovable object in Boyle County Friday night. To North Hardin's argument, these tough regular season matchups help them when it comes time for playoff football in November. RB Kai Boyd and receivers Shaun Boykins and Shawn Rose must play weel for North Hardin to have a chance in this one. QB Thorpe's lack of arm accuracy and bad decision making when pressured does not bode well for the Trojans. I look for Boyle County to have a running clock in the second half of this game.

North Hardin better have someone to block Tommy Ziesmer or it's going to be a long knight for the Trojans.

I’m going to say 38 - 14 Boyle.

Look for a close 1st. half and Boyle cruise in the second half.
