Wow! Great win for O Cath!

Wow, congrats Catholic!

Oh my. Wow.

Big yikes!  I hope they turn it around but O has regressed week after week thus far.

Congrats to OCHS.  The game plan vs O is stall out the clock, run the ball.  Try to keep it close.  Pressure gets on O and they run and don’t open it up.  O doesn’t have the D-line or ILB’s to stop a run (until 3 or 4 yards).  Teams dominate possession to keep O chances down.   Biggest win in series history for OCHS.  This may go down as the most disappointing team in O history.

Since 1998, these 2 have played every year I think, I counted 25 times.  This is OCath's 9th win of those 25 and as Brown said likely the biggest in the series.

Congrats Aces!

I thought it was big that they beat BG's JV team earlier this year, but this is bigger than that.

Wow! Great job Catholic.

This is a big shocker to me.

Do whatttttttttt? Knocked off the Red Devils?

I have been saying all year keep an eye on Owensboro Catholic, but I did not expect this.

Both teams either lost early or were missing a few key players. Really gritty performance from Owensboro Catholic after a heart breaking loss last week to Union County. This was an amazing atmosphere and high school football game to watch in person. Good thing for Owensboro they get to get in their district play and will be able hopefully work on opening up the offense against lesser competition. For OC, the next two games will be extremely tough road games: at CAL who looks like the best team in 3A and at at Hancock County who has a really good team this year and is a tough place to play.

Paducah Tilghman would probably disagree with CAL being the best 3A team.
