A tough loss for the Dukies on Coach K's last game at Cameron Indoor. Poor ESPN spent a two weeks talking it up. ?

I can't remember the last time a major college team playing a big time opponent played only 5 players the entire 2nd half.

Scheyer has been doing the halftime interviews. Wonder if he will speak on Ks behalf post game ?

UK came very close to doing it a couple weeks ago. Oscar sat for maybe 1:30. Besides that short break the same 5 played the entire second half.

Don’t blame me.  A real team would have won that game.  Done with this year’s team.  On to next year and Coach Scheyer.  This year’s team is dead to me.

I think this loss could light a fire under them.  They still have gobs of talent.

Save this post because I am going to jinx the rest of the field. One thing fascinating about Coach K's success is that he has never won a title being anything but a #1 seed. I expect the heavens to open and Duke gets it done. Similar to how Tiger Woods never won a major title when trailing going into Sunday until his last Master's victory (and probably his last major win ever).

This Duke team must be vexing for the Blue Devil faithful. This is one of Duke's more talented teams, but once they got into conference play (one of the ACC's weakest years, ever), it seems they played down to their competition and it infiltrated their mojo. As I said a couple weeks ago, Duke is going to avoid playing a ranked opponent for four straight months. That has probably never occurred in their program history.

ESPN was probably thrilled.  I bet more eyes tuned in during the second half because of what happening than if the result was the other way.

I took advantage of the nice weather and accomplished a TON this weekend. 

With that said, I happened to check Twitter and see that Duke was going to lose and tuned in the last 5 minutes. I'm sure I wasn't the only one!

Seriously though.  How do you lose that game. They had one job.   One job only.  Win his last home game.  And they failed.  Miserably.  To a crappy UNC team they already 20 pieced.  Shameful.  Ridiculous.  I hate this team.
