Anyone who leaves Jonathan VanHoose off of Russell's all-time team is a little short on basketball IQ.

Graduated in '85, right?

 

I remember Gallatin Co. went over to their place when I was a freshman, and he lit us up for something like 40 and change, and he was getting up a good 30+ inches on jumpers. He was very much in the zone that night.

 

That was him. He loved to go baseline and pull up from about 15'.

I'm not a Russell Guy as you Know but I do agree. What about Jared Fergason who graduated in 03 I think, where would you guys rate him??

Anyone that would truly think that Vanhoose is better than any of the five I listed previously on here is either (A) a relative or (B) someone who does not know their basketball history. By the way, I would not knock someone else's IQ before re-evaluating your own first.

Bart never really fully developed until college, McCarty (nowhere even close, Jack Wireman would be the next choice at forward), Couch was really more of a small forward

I believe that Terry never did get into coaching but he was a very good player as well, in the medical field now.

SG- Brad McNabb- 2nd in three point shooting

SF- Michael Setters- solid, athletic player-

PF- Nick Feagan- Transylvania University

C- Nick Nelson- 2nd best true center behind Maley.

Clay Rechtin- great competitor-- great knowledge of game

Justin Noel- solid player on mediocre teams

Jason Haggard- rebounding machine- played a Thomas More
