I think you have it pretty close. A couple others for consideration would be:

Willie Hicks (no relation to the other Hicks on the list). Willie averaged about 20 points a game on a very good 1970 Evarts team. This was the team that beat the M. Byrd lead Harlan team out of the district tounament. Harlan was the regional favorite and had a 19 game winning streak goiing into the district tournament.

Curt Stallard (yep, the jailer). I am too young to remember him playing but I understand Curt was a heck of a player.

The three best I can remember are Hershal, Billy, and Kerry, in that order.

The most natural talent was Kenny Baxter. David Fox may have accomplished the most with the least amount of talent.

Come to think of it, I think it was Nathan Stallard, Curt's brother, that was a big star at Evarts. That was before even my time.

Jon Vanhoose?

Ryan Howell?

Don't know Don Lancaster, must have been before my time, but I believe Kirk Ruggles left Shawnee St. as their all-time leading scorer.

Al Bane?

I personally would have to go with the following Lineup for the Greenup County Musketeers:

G-Chris Plummer

G-Steve Skaggs

F-Boo Williams

F-Jim Tackett

C-Mike Scott

Second 5 In no Particular order: Adam "Bird" Tackett, Tim Veach, Damon Stephenson, Tracy Claxon, Mike Raby.

Sutton and Griffith won a lot of games for GC.

What about Maysville St. Patrick's All-time starting 5?

Frank Persley 'Late 80's

Michael Richardson '96

Rick Jones '99

AW Hamiliton '99

Scott Hundley '00

...you gotta get Casey Alsop '00 on the list somewhere as well

Other Notables

Ritchie Hemple

Randy Mann

Carl Collinsy

Andy Williams

Jon Vanhoose?

Ryan Howell?

What about them? I listed my top five and I believe those were the five best.

You can list yours and put whoever you want on it. :thumb:

Morgan Co.

F-Mark Holbrook--Centre College standout...versatile athlete "Rambo" style

F-Bruce McLin--Ky/Ind. All star 2nd in state in scoring next to Wah Wah Jones

F-Blake McCowan--Nobody has more points, rebounds, and assists combined

G-Chris Fraley--Talented guard could score and beat teams

G-Doug Jones--Stories about the talented 1970's star are amazing.

For Bowling Green just take their 89 team and for a sixth man how about "Hillbilly Jim"? Yes, that "Hillbilly Jim" of WWF Wrestling fame...he was scrawny (but tall) while at BGHS - not the best roundballer, but ended up making a pretty good name for himself...

My mother knows him!

My mother knows him!
