Tigerpride94 Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 I see this as a competitive disadvantage for JCPS vs schools that don't test. Imagine Male in semifinals or championship and then lose some players due to false positives or no symptoms positive.

Tigerallamerican Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 JCPS is a dumpster fire. I feel sorry for these kids. A lot of them already have the deck staked against them then they have to deal with this crap. Meanwhile the private schools are hiring more people to answer the enrollment hotline lol. 5
laketime85 Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 Inevitably a JCPS team will lose a key member of their team at a crucial time in the season.

Get your kids out of JCPS and if you are the parent of an 8th grader or below make other plans for your children. 6
ChickenWyngz Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 I still struggle immensely with testing healthy people. 1
Cats25 Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 Are they testing all players, regardless of vaccination?
Cobraxx Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 I'm not familiar with this. So is the school paying for the testing or do parents?

Will be weekly testing. I know I said this already, but one of the most troubling things through all of this to me has been the testing of perfectly healthy people. Given what we know about false positives, etc, especially in rapid testing situations, I really struggle with it. 2

All JCPS students that wish to participate in athletics or any extracurricular school group (clubs, etc.). And it's every week. The logistical hurdles alone are a nightmare. 3

Ok. Let me rephrase. What reasons does JCPS give for requiring the test? 1
