I’m gonna be that crazy person who believes UK has a small chance if they can force turnovers.

Bryce Young looked rattled, short armed passes and threw easy completions at the receivers feet.

He has played almost to emotionless this season, needs some fire in him that he can feed off of.

It just seems insane we are even talking about this when you look at where we were 10 years ago.

Michigan still has Penn State, Mich State and Ohio State, the season has been good so far for them but I don't see them in the top 10 at the end of the year.

Bama will win out and if wins another SEC championship will be back somewhere in the top 4

Positioning Alabama to at least get the #4 seed IMO.  The teams fighting for the #4 seed will be super interesting next month.

Imagine thinking UC is better than Alabama.

According to Kirk H., UC needs lots of help due to the soft schedule they have remaining.

 

Of course this could all lead to a very ticked off Alabama.  One that completely steamrolls the rest of their schedule, including the SEC East champ in the conference Championship.   They lost a close game, on the road, in one of the most hostile environments in college football.  Until they lose a second game, I'd still consider them the second best team in college football, right behind Georgia at this point.

Will UC's remaining schedule doom them to miss the CFP?

Currently sitting at 3rd, but wouldn't a win out from here on from Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State or Ohio State not look better?

Would Oklahoma winning out be enough to pass them?

Wouldn't Bama winning out and winning SEC title in Atlanta, probably pass UC?

Heck even if UK were to win out, they'd pass UC. (I know it's not likely)

UC is like the horse that went out fast to run with the leaders early, but gets ran down by the stronger horses down the stretch and finishes out of the money.

UC being third in these polls is meaningless.  Where will they be in the first CFP poll?  If they are 3rd or 4th there and win out and still manage to drop, the CFP might as well fold up shop and just take the power 5 conferences, reshape them into 4 conferences and just take those for champions and play.  Stop the charade of the group of 5 ever having a shot.

Odds makers started Georgia out as a 26 point favorite next weekend over UK but it’s dropped to 22 since. 

UC’s best win is over #9 ND and they’ll only play one other (currently) ranked team the rest of the year. That doesn’t spell CFP to me.
