UC’s best win is over #9 ND and they’ll only play one other (currently) ranked team the rest of the year. That doesn’t spell CFP to me.

UC fans need to root for Indiana to find themselves, pull off an upset and get back into the rankings, and they need to root for SMU to be undefeated when they play at the end of the season. Two undefeated teams facing off at the end of the year will get hype. Finally, UC needs to keep piling it on against their opponents. They can't show any chinks (or perhaps provide easy excuses) to the voters.

RE: UC, Central Florida, Hawaii, and all these other teams through the years that believe they are on par with the top dogs. If I were a fan of those teams I would probably feel the same. But through the season you have to steamroll all competition, showing no mercy. You can't be playing Murray State to 7-7 at halftime or in a battle with any of your foes. I didn't make the rules, that's just how it works. The system is setup to nitpick any of your flaws and muscle flexing is a must.

Anyways, regarding the Bama/A&M game. Kudos to the Aggies on finding a way to win. If you look at the box score you would think the Tide won by 10+. Aside from the A&M kickoff return and final 5 minutes, I don't believe the Aggies had 17 yards of offense in the second half. Though they could not stop them when it most mattered.

1st and goal from the 4 for Bama down 31-27 and they throw 3 straight incompletions...I wouldn't want to be the OC in the next meeting with Saban!
