Didn't think a KY resident was eligible for participation in OHSAA events. Years ago that was not the case as players from NKY went to St X and Moeller.

They still can't, but he does, and I can't explain how that is happening.  

Also, to be clear, it doesn't bother me in the least, do what you think is best for your kid.

I am spit balling but I thought years ago as long as you started in kindergarten/1st grade you could in fact live out of state and play in Ohio.

I assume you mean starting school in Ohio if you lived in KY. Never heard of that happening but I guess it did. Usually kids from NKY went to HS across the river....academics and athletics.

I am pretty sure you right on that. I know someone who lives in KY and had a son who attended Summit Country Day in Cincinnati from elementary on. He played sports for them in high school while living in KY. That is the one "loophole". Otherwise you have to live in Ohio to play sports.
