The facemask penalty at the beginning of the 4th quarter punt against Trinity that Coach Cobb couldn't see on film is very subtle but you can see it on the end zone copy of the film. But I'm sure he would disagree with it.

Trinity stat report submitted to KHSAA for game last night. St. X had 363 yards rushing which probably why St. X didn't pass much other than in spots.

When you can run the ball effectively there isn’t need to throw. It’s demoralizing to a defense.

Just the fact that Trinity can stay on the field with Male and St. X after losing 90% of the starters from last year says a lot about the kids in that program. I don't know what will happen in any possible rematches, but keeping these games within arm's length now will make for a compelling November. They'll believe they can win against H and X.

If you're T, you can say "We kept it close. Here's what we can do to completely close the gap."

I think T has a good offense and what is keeping them in games. The defense needs to significantly improve but with so young on D not sure how much will improve since sophomores generally not going to be as strong as juniors and seniors.

They've got several games to go to get better, and most of it comes against good competition. The Bombers might pour it on them next week, but the last three weeks have good opportunities for wins and confidence building.

My projection for Trinity is they will lose to Cincy St. X. Beat Ballard and Eastern. St. Marys (MO) is #8 in Missouri and that will be a toss up but winnable game. Beat Eastern & Ballard in playoffs. Beat 3rd round opponent then play Male in semifinals which will be tough to beat.

To play Male, u think they will be 4th in rpi? X and Manual 2-3?

They are 30th in RPI now and will be tough for them to get to a #3 seed with what's left of schedule. X and Manual in same district so one or the other will advance to 3rd round. If X advances they should be two seed unless lose to Manual in regular season then would have to see how shakes out so 3 seed probably worse case scenario.

Can you post that film? not on the film i saw, why 4 minutes to make the call? Why no player number given?
