Ill have to say that was impressive. That championship game was impressive too. Hard game to come up short. Franklin sure looked good. I for one realize what Franklin is, I watched the game last year, I have watched film this year. They are for real. So is Corbin.

I agree, I expect a close game either way.

Hoptown is pretty lonely representing the western part of the state. Is there anyone from WKY that you all see rising up this year to challenge Hoptown?

Right they are literally ranked ahead of Franklin in every poll that exists, and have what 8 D1 kids with offers. FCHS has one.

Franklin’s team plays like a Army of D1 athletes. They might have just one, but I would have sworn they had 12.

Logan County... maybe? Honestly, it's slim pickings for 4A out west this season.

It’s more likely that Hoptown sinks to the level of the other teams than one rising up to meet them in the rankings.

Seems that way, but the usual suspects aren't looking as strong. Now we can re-assess mid-year as a team always rises up and gains confidence.

Logan has a big test with my Colonels on Friday. Madisonville looked awful in week 1. Franklin-Simpson played a tough Bardstown team and lost. Calloway is well coached and plays hard, maybe them as a sleeper?

I’m proud of what we have. Doesn’t matter to me the outcome. At least we’re playing. Getting in some conversations. Chance at doing something  great. What more can we do. If winning a title was easy, everyone would have one. There’s also good teams that don’t have titles. We will be a good team and have a great year. Good luck to all   Teams in a crazy 2cd year of covid.

Sure do hope teams get to keep playing games and the cancellations chill out by the end of the year.
