Anyone but Thom Brennaman.  He has always been terrible, no matter what the sport or who was in the booth with him.    Sadak isn't bad when the color man in the booth is willing to interact.  Brantley and/or Welsh in the booth with him is fine.   I just don't think Larkin pays all that much attention to anything going on around him.

I'd take Brenneman any day over Sadak.  Larkin, loved him as a player, will not criticize any player no matter how bad his play.  I like Welsh, but my favorite Reds broadcaster is Brantley, be it TV or radio.

Sad, but not shocking.  Votto's best days are way behind him.  He was just not consistent enough to warrant keeping on this roster as a player.  Maybe he moves into a coaching or front office position of he doesn't sign somewhere else?    But this is a move the Reds had to make.

Just saw this it looks like it was announced yesterday. 

The Cincinnati Reds announced that they have declined Joey Votto's 2024 club option, making him a free agent.

I was hoping Joey would accept where he is in his career, accept the fact that he has to earn his playing time now, take a $2-3 million contract (on top of the $7 million buyout he is getting from the Reds) and stay next year. It looks like his ego would not allow that and he was looking for playing time assurances. It will be interesting to see who is willing to take a chance on him. I will be rooting for him wherever he lands.

It was the right move and Reds Fans will welcome him back for a HOF Weekend.
