December 22, 200619 yr I really hope things work out for Caracter, whether he returns to UL or not. The kid is simply just that, a kid. Not ready for a structured lifestyle and immature. It frustrates me to no end to see a kid with worlds of potential like that and not realize what he has been given... thus far it was has been a free ride to a University to play hoops with a great shot of making millions. Even without the millions, a free education is hard to come by. If he does not return, I hope Clark can wisen up. If they both leave they will be kicking themselves in the rear years from now. On a side note... has Caracter ever stated that he belives he could go straight to the NBA? Would he have without the new rule? What about Clark? Transferring at this point would take off a year of eligibility for either one.

December 23, 200619 yr Clark won't be leaving, he is frustrated, but he knows he is getting about as much playing time as he deserves, on the other hand, Pitino knew Caracter was a liability. Cards fans gripe, but Pitino has basically recruited for the long haul. That means having some patience with this team. Yes, it was a gamble. But you have to take risks. Pitino and the Cards will perservere through this.
December 23, 200619 yr Good Call by Pitino. It doesnt matter how bad your season is going, it is important that ALL players understand who is in charge. No matter how great you are suppose to be.
