It was also definitely a foul on Arkansas going for the rebound, before the guy even got it to try to shoot it.

I think everyone was watching the ball.  I didn't see it real time.

Calipari says the inbounds play at the end was supposed to go to Sarr and then a guard but no guard got open.

2nd option was go to BJ Boston on inbound, but Toppin didn’t see him.

Well then yes that is really dumb. Maybe if it was only two seconds. However, with four seconds they definitely could have had a guard race it up court and not throw it to Sarr.

The troubling part for me is, it looked like they were winging it.

100% you have to give it to a guard who drives past the half court line for a decent look, or a guard who can quickly take a few steps and pitch it to a wing and hope.  I think what's more troubling is it's like they were winging it.

Only reason you throw it to a big is if you're trying to do a hook-and-lateral or something.  Still think Boston is your best option there.

Right... it just didn't look like they were prepared to run the play.  Both guards were basically in front of Sarr when he caught it.  I guess it's that kinda season.

The old school in me says that this is a matchup that never should have come down to the last shot.

But it’s been that kind of season.

I would rather let a guard dribble the length of the floor than throw it to the center at halfcourt.

Totally. I only throw it to a big with like 2 seconds like Valpo did in the 90s, on that epic play. Hence, no one allows it anymore.

BJ Boston: "I think the refs gave them that game, that's all I have to say."

I know some aren't a big fan of Boston but he's come a long way.

Yes he has all the way from a lottery pick to maybe a 2nd Rounder

Interesting stat I just heard. KY in the 2nd half of their last 5 games has been out scored  63-19 from the foul line. Not going to win many games  like that. Like CAL says March is all that matters.

Just saw the end, Toppin makes NO effort to box out on the last shot, just lets his man walk right by him and get the offensive rebound, this team is just so poor fundamentally!!
Then you let a bad decision maker with the ball take it out of bounds????!!!!  Come on Cal!!!
