Which game will be the best game of the weekend? Why do you think so? 

I went with BG/Owensboro but there are others just as good potentially. Trinity/Male probably least competitive.

I also picked BG v. Owensboro, but I think most will be really good games!

I voted BG/Owensboro. The Red Devils have the best player but the Purples have been playing at a very high level the last couple of weeks. 

That’s a pretty good slate, hard to say which will be the best.

Agreed. I think you can validate a winning pick for any game from 1A to 5A. Trinity should be an overwhelming favorite in 6A. I think Elizabethtown/Ashland will be the best game. 

BG vs Owensboro hands down. Not only are they the best 2 teams in the class but throw in the long rivalry and it makes for a terrific game.

Etown/Ashland or Boyle/Franklin I think will be the best games to watch. 

BG/Owensboro - old rivals usually have to play each other in district or regional championship round - 1st ever chance for a state title.

BG vs Owensboro is going to the most interesting. But I'm looking forward to seeing those Franklin County boys play! They've got something very good brewing up there (Elkhorn Middle School won the 2020 state title, so the incoming freshman should be impressive - Keep an eye on Kalen Washington (RB)).

Biggest toss up- 3A 

Most intriguing- 4A 

 

I think BG and Owensboro will be the most competitive with BG edging them late.

Agree. Every game is a toss up except Trinity / Male. Bowling Green and Boyle County are both clear favorites but their opponents have the firepower to spring upsets. Ashland and Paintsville are favorites but only by a touchdown or less. I think Lexington Christian versus Beechwood is the toughest game to predict with Beechwood a slight underdog.
