He's been almost a non-factor in terms of receptions in their biggest games. Even if they are doubling him seems like they could find ways to get the ball in his hands. 

Rewatching a couple of Bowling Green’s past games, Dingle has been the key to opening up many holes in the run game.  They like to pull him a lot and he’s outstanding at it, I do wish they’d get him the ball more.  The kids a stud and is hard to get down no matter who’s tackling him.

No doubt. His blocking is as valuable as anything.

Looking at this from another angle.. I think it’s great that they haven’t FORCED the ball into Dingle’s hands and have still walked away with wins! The stats may read one way; however, the big games Ive seen at the end of the season, Dingle has actually dropped several balls that will only show up on Cooper’s stats! I believe he’s almost always thrown to when he’s open. However, why in the world would you try to force something that’s not there if other stuff is working. Maybe just for the fans sake.. lol. Like you guys are saying, he’s an incredible blocker! These kids are playing as a UNIT right now. I actually think Cooper, Bunton, and Burwash are making this offense click on all cylinders right now. Of course Dingle is VITAL as well.  We were talking in the stands last week, there’s not one bit of jealousy on that field.. it’s WONDERFUL to see!

You are right that it's awesome they have been able to walk away with wins without Dingle getting many catches.

And I don't mean to force anything. That would be a mistake.  But a good offensive planner should be able to come up with different ways to get someone of that size and talent more targets.

As someone mentioned in another post, got to do some different stuff.

Let's hope Cooper continues his good roll he has been on. If he's off, it is going to be A LOT harder to win.

Couldn’t agree more.. definitely more ways they could try to get him open! He’s HUGE! I think we’ve all begged for different stuff offensively for 2 years.. especially when you have the pure athletes that you do on offense! I mean DOGS!! At the start of the season they seemed like they were handcuffed to one another and had to be robots. They’re finally showing their talents. Kudos to the coaches for letting them get comfortable and just play the game! This team is an exciting group to watch!! I seriously think that’s what we’ve been seeing the past month. An entirely different team! 
And absolutely.. if Cooper is in his groove.. I think things look solid for BG!!

I am beyond heartbroken that El Donaldson Stadium will no longer host Bowling Green High School Football.  I have very special memories of going to the games with my late husband, Michael Bulldog Drake.  This place is also where I was introduced, and later became, very good friends with many wonderful people.  How can a place be so magical?  I guess just the rich history, wonderful people and many, many talented young men.  It was such a special place for my late husband that I placed the H and his football number on his headstone. He wore his high school football jersey to every football game, and then was laid to rest while wearing it. RIP El Donaldson stadium, you will be missed!

Bulldog was a huge inspiration for me. Loved his passion for the history of the teams in this area, attention to stats, etc. I can’t even imagine the hours and hours of work it would have been to get all the results in Bowling Green football history. I’ve never even met anyone else who would have even tried!

Bulldog touched a lot of us. 

It's hard to go against a coach with a career playoff record of 32-4 with four state titles, but this is Eviston's biggest challenge of the last few years. CovCath beautifully blended talent and scheme from 2017-2019. This year, it seems to be more a blend of scheme and effort. That's certainly not a bad combination, but I don't know that it's enough to get it done this year against a more athletic and battle hardened BG squad. 

I'm feeling the Purples this week by a couple of scores.

Thanks for that. All of us Campbell County folks appreciate it. Just wish we could have afforded to keep them on our side of the Licking River.
