Loved Bulldog.  I appreciated all the stats and printouts he gave us at the radio shows at Mr. Gatti's on Saturday mornings in the 90s when I played there.  I still have some of the stuff he put together for us my senior year.

Heck of a Purple fan, and even better human! Every time we ran out we had to smack his hand. If he was smiling on our way back into the locker room, we knew we played well. R.I.P. to Mr. Bulldog and R.I.P. Paul Gray, I know they would both love to be here and see what's going on with the Purples..

I am sure @PurpleHaze is watching down on us from above.

Michael "Bulldog" Drake introduced so many Purples to the passion you grow to have while playing in the Purple and Gold!  He was at every game I can ever remember (before going on the field and after coming off!).  When I started checking BGP on a more regular basis in 2013, he would message me and we would talk Purples Football (old and new).  He would send me a Purples program every year from 2014 until his passing.  He would talk 2 teams the most - Paducah Tilghman and Owensboro.

His most famous saying for me was (referring to playing Owensboro at Rash Stadium) - "You're already down 7-0 when you go play at Rash Stadium".  That one always makes me smile.

He would be proud of this team and I know he and Paul Gray will be smiling down on Friday!

Correct. After the KHSAA gets their take, as they would with any playoff game, the schools are splitting the video ticket sales 50/50, also as they would with the "admission" tickets for any playoff game.

Many of these defenders spent the last two years scrimmaging Mike Mayer. Dingle may win his 1:1 battles, but the dudes in blue aren’t backing down.

I can tell BG is pretty darned good this year, because the keyboard muscles are strong.  A stark contrast to last year.

BG is an all time great sports program in KY.  They deserve and will get 110% of Cov Cath’s respect.  From the administration on down, all hands in Park Hills know they have a great test, come Friday.

BG faithful - safe travels and let’s see a great, clean game, between two of Kentucky’s finest.

It's absolutely a disgrace they are not allowing a local broadcast crew to video broadcast the game the way almost every other school is. You are correct.

And I'd like to know your source on your points in the your statement cause you have no credibility at this point.

It's directly from the KHSAA's postseason instructions, right under the "Agreement on Finances and Game Proceeds" subheading, bub:

Method 1:
- The first and more commonly used method is to simply split the gate receipts after the payment of the trophy bill and the
cost of officials.
- In addition, for the fourth round, many schools agree to follow a fixed rate mileage allowance for the traveling team prior to making this division of the gate or a lodging allowance due to cross-state travel.
- This method of dividing proceeds encourages the visiting team to minimize travel expenses and the home team to control game costs and eliminates the perception of inflated costs by either the traveling team or home
management.

Method 2:
- The second method is a split of the gate after agreed expenses, which would involve the following:
- Allowing for the cost of the trophies and the game officials.

- If no other agreement on mileage or visiting team travel can be reached, using the state expense allowance is recommended ($5 per meal per player, $2 per mile for travel).

If no agreement exists in advance, the Method 1, as detailed above, shall govern the finances.

His source is really good.  I promise.  As has been established, it is clear that there is a dichotomy this year in broadcast right disbursal between the east side of the state and the west.  

This is a unique year.  You guys have a first class program and have all of our respect.  Please stop with the rhetoric.  There are well thought out reasons for these decisions.  We are in a unique time.  CCH’s broadcast crew has been disallowed from many road games this year, too.  Including out of town.  If you need more info on that, shoot me a note.

There is a ton of respect up here for all of you in Bowling Green.

I agree with this statement here. I don't know what  starters  are back for CC, but anyone who went against Mayer has experience that's for sure.

Dingle is a heck of a blocker and that can't be talked about enough.

I still can't understand why in bigger games they haven't been able to get Dingle the ball very much.

He's been almost a non-factor in terms of receptions in their biggest games. Even if they are doubling him seems like they could find ways to get the ball in his hands. 

As is typical (and tired, and lazy), I’ve read a lot of insinuating comments in this thread about CCH and it’s constituency’s lack of appreciation of a hard earned dollar.  Like many schools in NKY, CCH is blessed to have many well heeled, supportive families.  However, like most schools in NKY, they have financially challenged families as well.  Any assumptions otherwise, or blanket statements re: “privilege” or lack of appreciation for a hard earned dollar are, in my view, lazy and misguided.  

Separately, even if we want to use geographical stereotypes, which are wrong, I chuckle when I think about our administration and their background.  We have a Principal from Alexandria and an AD from Cold Spring.  We have leadership with a blue collar ethos.  Said differently, we’re led by, down to earth Brossart and New Cath guys.  Frankly, they are exactly what we needed at CCH to shake things up.  If you don’t think they understand the value of a buck, well, you’re wrong.

After watching two game films BG can at times be very predictable with Dingle. I have to give Eddie credit he would constantly have Meyer in motion and in many different packages. 
BG has a lot of weapons but Dingle and the RB are by far 1 & 2. 
BUT the BG offensive Cor best change it up SAME with CCH we can’t run Caleb 30times. 
Reardon needs to have the biggest game of his career (3/4 TD) or Zion also get a couple TD’s
