Patriots take aim at sky high Flyers

The Flyers sent shockwaves throughout 4A with a 42-6 drubbing of perennial power Central in Round 2. Nick Broyles and Fred Farrier were in sync, per usual, linking up for a pair of touchdowns, while sophomore running back Kaden Moorman continues to emerge as a weekly theat defenses have to account for. The defense was every bit as impressive as the offense, stifling the Yellowjackets and recording a scoop and score by Zach Claudio and a timely interception from Tate Blair.

Allen County-Scottsville reached the quarterfinals with a 28-13 win over Warren East to claim a district championship. The Patriots got their usual production from the three headed backfield of Trace McIntyre, Landon Witcher, and Dillon Rookstool. The trio combined for 243 yards rushing, with McIntyre adding another 130 yards and two scores through the air. Defensively, ACS has been solid all year, allowing 15 points per game, but it's safe to say they haven't faced an offense of Franklin County's caliber.

I would’ve thought that this game would’ve been competitive but after seeing FC destroy Central I have a hard time believing ACS can keep it close so I’m going Franklin Co 48-14.

It's 2020....anything could have happened.  Bus broke down, or Lights at stadium wouldn't work,  or Pipe burst and field was flooded.  I'm sure most figured this is covid related. 

Everyone that I've talked to is clueless right now but if it is Covid related and both teams do shut down than what happens next week?

Rumor is that the positive case is a coach. Not sure how you can play with all the contact tracing and quarantining.
