I would like to hear from @NLTanker1 on that one.

I've heard Steve Specht and Coverdale coming down from Cincy St. X. If you're into conspiracy theories, this was set in motion when Coverdale left for X to be groomed under his longtime friend for a takeover in St. Matthew's to begin a new regime.

If it is, it's a well deserved retirement. He's won 14 state titles, 1 mythical NC, and had multiple undefeated seasons. His teams have beaten almost every team they've played. In some cases given oth

Yes I know. And it's beautiful. I have what I call the "Wall of Game" in my man cave. 11 of the 14 Championship posters, framed jerseys (the pink one from 2010 with the #98, my graduating year, is my

Same. And isn't Trinity loaded with juniors this season or am I wrong? If so, seems like two more years would make sense.

Senior class is loaded why heavy favorites to win 6A.

That is the big follow up: any potential Beatty replacements floating around Kentucky or does Trinity look beyond the state line like they've done in the past?

Highly unlikely Trinity’s next coach is in KY, IMO.

Gotcha. I was thinking it was the junior class. Makes sense. Thanks!

Agreed. Not sure any program in the state could prepare someone for that job. Trinity should be able to get an interview with most any high school coach they're interested in.

I believe that every season the last 10+ seasons has been rumored to be his "last season" because of various reasons.

I believe this years SR class is the class everyone has been waiting to see since their FR year. The upcoming JR & SOPH classes aren’t that strong when compared to other THS classes. But we’ll just have to wait and see what the future brings.

The senior class is the loaded one. Their junior class isn’t bad, but probably not what Trinity has been used to and their sophomore class is definitely not up to Trinity’s standard.

I like conspiracy theories!

Not sure if there’s an in-state coach with the qualifications for the job. Maybe someone like Ty Scroggins could get an interview, but he would probably have to hire a good OC. A young coach like Brandon Smith might be able to get an interview, but likely an OOS coach.

How much that job pay, does anyone know?

I would imagine the only people who know are Beatty (and I assume his wife), Trinity president Rob Mullin, T AD Rob Saxton and a few people in T's accounting office.

Surely someone has a ballpark figure.

I've heard upwards of $150k with incentives and whatnot, but no idea how true that is.

I wonder how much of the figure is for teaching?

Yeah I have no idea what the break down looks like.

How much of a teaching load does he have?
