Absolutely. The numbers speak for themselves.

That doesn't mean every NBA bound kid SHOULD go to UK. That's just homer talk.

So are you saying Eric Spoelstra is a Homer? If UK sucked at basketball I'd say it. I'm not afraid to tell the truth even though I'm a UK fan. Football sucked for a long time but I was still a fan. Now UK football is finally having some success.

I'm saying one guys opinion doesn't change the fact that UK isn't the answer for every NBA bound kid. You agree with Spoelstra, obviously.

UK certainly has the best reputation of the three schools he's come down to when it comes to putting guys in the league. So if the NBA is at the forefront of his aspirations, I think UK is the choice.

But if he wants to play a lot on the perimeter more than anything, I can't see that happening much in Lexington. If Anthony Davis wanted to play on the perimeter more in college and didn't, then this kid ain't.

AD was exactly the example I thought of. Haarms ain't AD on a bad day.

He could actually benefit from UK possibly. Anyone who’s 7’3”/athletic and not in the NBA after 4 years, needs a bump/boost.

That works against UK IMO.

Could Cal use him like AD? He played out on the floor. I’m not saying the two are similar in talent. Just a thought

Or Karl Anthony-Towns. I think he wanted to step out and take three's while at UK even more than AD did.

UK will be adding a football and basketball recruit this week per sources.

Matt Haarms will decide tomorrow on his school. Per Evan Daniels and others.

If you’re 7’3” tall and want to play on the perimeter, a hell of a lot of people have failed you in your life...

It’s insane...

It’s like saying I have a 103 mph fastball, I’d like to play hockey...

It’s like saying I scored perfect on my ACT, I think I’ll work at McDonald’s.

I’d be happy to pick up a big, god knows we need one.

However, if you’re that tall and want to hang around outside, you’re too dumb to be coached, go somewhere else...

He could stand to spend some time in a real strength training program 7'3 and 250 is just way to lean. He's not super young either, about to be 23.
