Also said he wants to play more on the perimeter. I'm not sure how much that works for him at UK, but Coach Cal will do whatever is best for Kentucky.

IMO If he wants to go to the nba more he needs to work in the post. He could use to bulk up as well at 7'3 250.

The thing working for UK in this situation is if he stays true to his words about wanting to get ready for the NBA, Kentucky is really the only school that makes sense. How many guys have those other coaches put in the NBA?

Just depends on what he envisions for himself in the NBA. If he's convinced that only happens as a stretch player then maybe not UK. Now if he just wants to step outside and knock down a spot up 3 a few times a game, Cal can just show Sestina doing that this past season.

Kentucky is not the only school putting guys in the NBA.

If he thinks he's going to play on the perimeter in the NBA, and he can't do that at UK, then UK isn't the place he needs to go.

Kentucky might not be the only school but they are certainly putting the most in.

Still doesn't mean "Kentucky is the only school that makes sense." Every situation is different.

Most of the national guys who cover recruiting think UK is his best bet if he wants to wants to make it to the NBA. Like the Miami Heat Coach said himself there is NO Better place to prepare you for the NBA than at Kentucky.

I’m a huge UK fan but agree with @TheDeuce it all depends on the fit. UK definitely has a great track record.

Then why didn't Zion Williamson go to UK? Ja Morant? RJ Barrett? Trae Young? Marvin Bagley?
