Leave New York in. Their deaths are declining every day, positive tests are declining everyday but for some reason the US is still averaging 2K deaths a day.

There is no way of knowing a solid number on how many cases of COVID-19 have been prevented by social distancing guidelines put in place by states no more than knowing how many armed robberies were prevented by increasing police patrol in a certain area.

For those who want to claim people who are listed as CV19 deaths were going to die anyway of something else, they should know that the same criteria also applies to the flu. The flu itself isn't what kills people in the end. The flu causes your body's immune system to over react. In some people that leads to the lungs, heart or other organs being attacked by our own body and in some leads to death. Thus, people who die from the flu really die because of a heart attack or respiratory failure or other body failure. The flu is the trigger that leads to death. So when you see flu deaths posted, it is the same criteria as CV19. If someone wants to claim CV19 doesn't cause a lot of these deaths, the same is true for the flu because they attacked the body in much the same way.

We are all going to die anyway. One of my main goals in life is to prevent that from happening for as long as possible.
