True dat... the thing about a zip code is that it remains stationary, a truck built along the lines of Selby has the ability to move. He will make for a long evening for many opponents this season.

Boyd County played a great game last night I was impressed at the difference from last year. Ashland had no answer for Selby in the paint he scored and rebounded at will.

GIAT must be studying for a final. If my memory serves me correct, he posted thread for Rock Hill/Ashland thread.:sssh:

Good part about GIAT is he will still be on here till he dies supporting his Tomcats...Good or Bad..and I would hope all the BC Fans that posted on here will stay positive Good or Bad from this point on too.

Like I said in the prediction thread, I didnt think Ashland had any kind of answer for Boyd down low. Selby really established himself in the paint and played very well. I dont have any stats but i do know that Ashland shot terrible from the field, and very very rarely got any second chance oppurtunities. Ashlands press really got to Boyd late in the game and turned up the tempo to Ashlands favor but IMO we should've pulled out the press much earlier in the game. It was just another good game in the Ashland v. Boyd rivalry. Ashland will be fine, they need some more time under Coach Biggs to get used to his style and they will be contenders in the end. Boyd should expect to have another good season and make a run in the playoffs.

I agree with ya. He just seems to dissapear for a few days when things arent going so well in A - town. I doubt we'll hear from him in this thread though. I think he changed his avatar and shut down in the football threads after the first loss to JC. He doesnt like baseball though, so he'll be back soon.

If they would've won this game, he would've made 25 posts by now.

I don't think you can really judge "buddy ball" until February, his two main players, Thomas and Mcdavid have never played for him and have been with him for about a month, I don't think they are as good as what Ashland fans anticipated, but they are not as bad as what everyone else is saying after two straight losses, the other point is Boyd County is a lot better at this point than what people thought, every team has their run over the course of the season, all teams will start over at the end of February

Good observations, and I agree, but I know there are more than a few fans who now realize that FlynnBall wasn't so bad afterall.
