How did Branham look for BC?

I didnt hear Branhams name called out much tonight. I dont think he was ever claimed to be a high scorer. More of an assist man and defense in my opinion. Im sure he bothered some of the tomcats on defense tonight, you dont see that stuff when you listen to the game on the radio.

Boyd learned a lot from last years collapse, look for this team to get a lot better by seasons end. I said before the season started this team has great chemistry, and they play extremely hard every nite that in itself will win a bunch of ballgames. They remind you of some of the old throwback Boyd teams, on paper your better than them at every position but somehow they manage to hang in there.

 

I agree. Boyd has always had good athletes, with the odd down year. As long as they play hard, and play as a team, they will be tough to beat, regardless of the opponent.

Shot wasn't fallin tonite early so looked like he shut it down, he had to chase Thomas all nite so that kept him busy don't know if Thomas had double digits or not, close.

I think Thomas had 7 points. Only 2 in the second half.

I think Ashland will be fine this season and will be a team that you dont want to run into during the districts or the region as they always are. I would assume its going to take some games for these kids to get adjusted to the way coach Biggs likes to run. Its always tough on a team when a new coach comes into a program with a different style of play. Most teams struggle the first couple years with a new coach, but I think Mr. Biggs will be another legendary coach at Ashland if he sticks around. Nothing for the tomcat kids to hang their heads about tonight, they got beat by a better team at this point in the season. Things may be different next time these two meet, I sure hope not though. In my opinion this is just another classic,emotional,hard fought and down to the wire Boyd / Ashland game!

Id say you can. The decline of my atleticism and the steady increase in my weight and laziness has however made me a decent mens recreational softball player though ! I hope to one day be a legend of the sport !
