This one was pretty even minus the lopsided start. I would imagine if these teams meet again, CovCath would have a different plan for guarding Moore. Disken is great, but he can’t guard Moore by himself.

 

Green played hard the entire game.

 

Starks is going to be really, really good.

 

I like Stocks’ game A LOT.

I’d be interested to see how many triples Male made, and how they’ve been shooting all year. Had to be double digit treys tonight.

Male averages 6.4 made 3's per game. They shoot 39% from 3 as a team. Tyren Moore and Cam Pope (who did not score much tonight) each shoot around 45% on 3's.

What was the crowd like? Full house?

No about 2/3 full probably.

Three take-always that I saw:

 

1) Moore proved that he was by far the best player on the court (it wasn’t close).

2) Kind of surprised CCH had Disken guard Moore. It was a total mismatch. I am sure the coaches held some things back (waiting for Sweet 16) and they will put Stocks on him.

3) Green is the best all around player at CCH and has been all year - 20 and 10.
