It looked to me like Male just let down some in the 3rd quarter and then picked it back up in the 4th. If CCH was gassed it could have been from traveling in that little stubby Covington Latin school bus.

I thought they were probably due to having to play so hard in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to get back in the game. Plus in the 4th with Male in the lead they spread the court out and took it to the basket and drew fouls.

It might just be Male's M.O. They just recently had big 4th quarters to beat Trinity (by 9) and DeSales (by 7) after trailing going into the 4th.

For a lot of the 4th quarter, Male had Tyren Moore and 4 athletic players in the 6'6"-6'7" range on the floor. The athletic big guys, such as Noah Courtney, were very effective. Plus, when Covington Catholic took Grant Diskin off Tyren Moore, Moore scored quite a few points in a relatively short period of time.
