Tom Brady "Michigan should play OSU, Florida isn't even a good team"

Featured Replies

Just seen it on ESPN. It showed him talking and he said Michigan was the no brainer choice and that Florida wasn't even good and he downed Tebow or Leak not sure which one he was talking about. It was sad to see!

Why is it sad to see? When did it become wrong for a alum to speak highly of his program, while giving his opinion, thus speaking negatively about another? It happens on this website hourly.

See, I knew I always liked Tom Brady. He supports his team, what can you say? He was a winner at the college level, a winner at the professional level, so obviously he knows something about something. Brady is 100% class, always has been, always will be.

You have to take up for your former school. But I am glad the Gators get their chance.

I'm just going on what has been posted here, but disparaging another team is 100% NOT class.

He can say Michigan deserves it all he wants, thats his opinion and he's welcome to it.

Saying Florida isn't that good is well.. just wrong. Wrong to the point of being downright funny. At WORST they're the #3 team in football, and I don't think anyone (sane) would argue that the #3 team isn't that good.

I'll be waiting for the NFL star QB from Florida to retort. Wait? What's that? Sorry. The Rex Grossman feed has been intercepted...

He is entitled to his opinion as is everyone else. Though not confirmed, his comments about the players shows a lack of respect on his part.

Rex's team is above Brady's in college AND pro...:D:p

Not because of Rex... ;)

Did you see an interview or did they report what he said? The only thing I found was where he said Florida wasn't very good and he discredited the win over Arkansas because their qb only completed "3 passes the week before" and they had "18 guys pass the ball."

That is what I was wondering also. If all that was said, I don't blame Brady one bit for taking up for the school up north (his alma mater). That shows loyalty. Imo if the part disrespecting Fla. and their player/players was actually said then that was not needed at all. JMO I don't think that Florida's players give a rats patoot what he says.:D Another thought is that he could had said those things purposely to provide "bullinten board" material for the Gators bc being a former qb at Mich. he probably would like to see the Gators win.

Was that when Brady was getting bench in favor of Drew Henson? :D

Brady is one of my favorite players in the NFL, and he just said what most people do to support their school...:thumb:

I think he's got happy feet too much, he keeps thinking he's playing against the Bear's defense.
