December 6, 200619 yr Aren't they Big East champions? If you're thinking national champions then he might as well go to the NFL cause that is only a dream for the Cards.:thumb:This is likely to be the second season in the past five years that Louisville will finish in the top 10. This time, probably in the top 5. Someone sure is dreaming. Wake up, Milfordflash.:dancingpa
December 6, 200619 yr And to think. Last week he wasn't even the best NCAA QB in KY... You're smarter than to make a comment like that. Many people said Woodson was the better QB NOW but Brohm has more upside. Not saying I agree with it, but it sure could be an argument.

Not saying I agree with it, but it sure could be an argument. It was made to stir the pot, and that's something I do on a daily basis. So I guess I'm just not that smart...
December 6, 200619 yr If Brohm can get drafted in the first round he needs to go. If I was a GM in the NFL he would concern me. How many games has he missed the last two years because of injuries?
December 6, 200619 yr Whatever he decides will be ther best thing for him. It seems the young man is surrounded by loving people who also know the inside and outs of the NFL game.
December 6, 200619 yr I have news for you. Detriot has ALWAYS been a baseball and hockey town. People just tolerated the Lions when they were good. If I had to rank them: 1A - University of Michigan football 1B - Red Wings 2 - Tigers 3 - Pistons 4 - MSU football 5- MSU basketball 6 - UM hockey 7 - And then, maybe, maybe the Lions..........and that's pushing it:lol: That sounds about right. I'd say you could rate the Lions at 9th or 10th with a couple of high schools in ahead of them.
December 7, 200619 yr I posted on BGP a long time ago that I spoke to his brother during his frosh. season and he told me the plan was 3 years and on to the NFL. I looks like he was right. If he will be first round he has got to take the $$$$$$$$.

I don't think he always listens to his brother though.Don't you remember the second half of the Rutgers game,he was giving him an earful but he wouldn't listen evidently.
December 7, 200619 yr And there are many people, even a few on this site, that have said Brohm hasn't won a "big game." There are still things for him to prove... Individually, he has nothing else to prove. Yes, he has won a big game. The U, W. Virginia, Pitt were all big games for the Cards. I think you were being sarcastic. You are right, money does not always buy happiness. I think BB is one of the better College QB's of all time. This coming from a UK fan. I try to see things objectively. I know Miami is 6-6, but at the time of the game, you couldn't forsee that record for the Canes. Also, the schedules are made 2-3 years in advance.
December 7, 200619 yr So that he could tell him about all the easy courses he took? So he could tell him what its like to play for a national championship? So he could tell him what a Heisman trophy win is like (granted, won during the junior year)? So he could tell him what its like to get drafted to a team that wants him, not necessarily a team that needs him? So he could start in his rookie season? So he could have people clamoring about how good he'll be over his career? I think if Mr. Brohm calls Matt Leinart, Leinart might tell him to give Louisville another year. Is Brohm going to be a 3 year graduate. I believe Leinart may have had the benefit of a redshirt year, but I know Brohm didnt get that. The easy class thing is not necessarily true.

Brohm is a great college QB... let us leave it at that.... unless your definition of "one of the better College QB's of all time" is different than mine.

Better meaning one of the top 200-250 college QB's of all time. He has everything you want in a top flight QB. 119 QB's in D-1, multiply by 40 years or so= 4000-5000 QB's. I would put Brohm up there in the top 200-250.
