Win 250 for Steiner also.

Did Bieger play?

Bieger did not play, based on the box I'm looking at.

Wow...REALLY tough shooting night. Yikes.

I seen he was on the roster but I heard he quit. Is there any truth to that?

Beechwood Draud 15

How many shots did it take Draud to get 15? I’ve watched him a few times. If he isn’t hitting, he’ll keep shooting. Can go 10-15 just as easily as he’ll go 0-15.

Bieger no longer playing according to players and fans in the stands.

SK played well IMO, they were much more physical than anyone outside Knott Co Central was in the All A with Beechwood; and that game was a similar result.

No excuses here, but, the loss of Bieger really hurt the Tigers last night. The 2-2-1 press and half court D was hard for Beechwood to handle. Resulted in several unnecessary turnovers and they just could not get into a half court set against the SK defense. I'm sure they'll regroup, but facing that D the week that your starting SR PG defects from the team is hard for the overall team chemistry.

I talked to a score keeper at the game who told me Draud was 2-20 from the field. I'm guessing he was 8 or 9 of 22 to 24 from the line? He simply looked out of sorts last night.

Too bad Rylee was on the bench for this game too. He and Hughes in the middle might have made a huge difference for the Tigers. SK is all guards with no size inside.

2 of 21 from the field. 1 of 11 from three. 10 of 19 from the line.

Wow.

He’ll get it going. He is a solid player.

Simon Kenton is good. I did not think they were going to be as good as they showed last night. I like Coach Steiner and I wish them well.

Saw it in person. SK met BW 3/4 court all night. Smacked them headsup every possession and contested everything. BW had a bad shooting night but mostly due to Pressure IMO.

Bieger for BW was not seen in gym, definitely DNP. Don’t know what’s up there.

Niece looked like he is still coming back, but played very good. I saw nothing to indicate he won’t be back to form this year, and soon.

I heard SK played strong defensively, that is a good sign.

Last night was a really good night for the 8th. Spencer's win over Shelby Valley, and SK's victory over a ranked Beechwood team helped to reinforce my opinion that the 8th is going to fare well this year against the state's best.

Congrats to Coach Steiner on the milestone victory!

. . . and Danville was picked 4th in the 12th Region. Oldham County beat them easily.

Wasn't intending that the above two games were the only ones worth mentioned.

Oldham's win over Danville was a great win for the Colonels.

Also Woodford's convincing 16 point win over 16th-ranked Paul Dunbar was a big win for the 8th.

The 8th had a good week. :thumb:
