Final from Versailles. Central ends Franklin County's perfect season.

Franklin County scored easily on their first possession, and Central's defense was dominant the rest of the way. Flyers had three possessions in the 2nd half.

Mucker for Central racked up over 200 yards rushing.

Jackets peaking at the right time. That brutal early season schedule is paying off.

This Jackets team has taken a different shape over the last 3 weeks!

Hats off to Coach Eddie James and the flyers on a great run!

Central is a tough out this time of year. No surprise!

Next week quarterfinals on West Side

Moore at Central

Franklin Simpson at Madisonville/Hoptown.

Every. Single. Year.

Looks like Central packed that defense and took it on the road with them.

Congratulations.

This shook up the seedings. Looking very likely that Central will be at Boyle in round 4 with a win next week. Central put a running clock on this year Boyle seniors when they where freshman.

Did the Franklin QB play?

Guys Franklin Co played without their star QB Nick Broyles who was held out with an elbow injury. Look up his stats then put it in perspective. The Flyers played a game that most wouldn't understand. So hard hitting and competitive. They were warriors and the community should be proud. If you don't get what I'm saying, ask somebody with Central. Just wanted to make sure everyone understands the conditions of this hard fought game. Congrats to Central and hats off to the Flyers!

Bud you have no idea how this one played out. The boys from County balled out with their backs to the wall. Proud Flyer here.

Central defense points allowed in their last seven playoff games: 0, 0, 0, 8, 19, 0, 7.

Why was it played in Versailles?

Congratulations.

In a varsity game that only a few played in?

Congratulations.

First of all congrats to Central on the win and to Franklin for having a great season it’s hard to beat a good team without your starting QB.

The game between Central and Boyle you speak of was a varsity game that only a couple of these Boyle seniors even played in and it wasn’t a running clock the final score was 37-6 that Boyle team finished 7-5 and in all honesty wasn’t very good, don’t mean to offend but I had to set the record straight.
