November 9, 20196 yr Happy to see Minnesota do what I knew they would do. Glad they have the coach have the coach locked down. Contract extension by no means he is locked down.
November 9, 20196 yr Penn State is who we thought they were. Overrated. Nice win by Minnesota and NKY boy Tanner Morgan. I think Iowa will knock Minnesota off though.
November 9, 20196 yr Never been part of a field storming before. Nice chats with Jake Paulson from CAL and Seth Green near the tunnel after the game. Our family spent some time with Tanner and family yesterday - what a grounded and humble young man. I’ll always be a fan! Thanks for sharing. I like Tanner's dad too and can't wait to see him again.

November 10, 20196 yr That would be ironic because Minny is essentially a much better version of Iowa this year. Minnesota is Iowa with talent at the receiver position.
November 10, 20196 yr Wishful thinking. Why is it wishful thinking? I hope he does stay. However, to many times people seem to think a coach wouldn't leave a program where they have a good thing. Yet seem to forget just like players dream of bigger things, so do coaches. I doubt his dreams are to be at Minnesota, and wouldn't leave for a traditional football power. Where easier to recruit, and better chances to win at a high level consistently. Now it would take the right decision and wouldn't leave just to leave. However, if the right one comes along he will be gone. It could be as soon as this year and USC. If people wanted to talk up a .500 coach last year in Brohm as being the next big thing and USC would love to have him. You would think this guy would be even more wanted, because he has had success now at 2 different places. Edited November 10, 20196 yr by futurecoach

I’m not sure row the boat works in LA or Tallahassee. It works in Minneapolis.
November 10, 20196 yr He just got a big extension. Nice move by Minny. $10 million buyout this year but it drops to 3 then 2.

November 10, 20196 yr Ha well obviously he will have to change his motto. I think he meant the rah-rah, gimmicky slogans thing might not work at Florida State or USC.
