Final.

Oh wow....

Hightower scores from 5 yards out for the Maroons with :51 left to put Madisonville up 24-20.

Logan runs a hook-and-lateral to set up a final play from Madisonville’s 32. Hail Mary caught at 1 and receiver falls into end zone to give the Cougars the win.

Hightower had over 40 carries for over 300 yards. I don’t have any other stats.

Did I already say wow?

Three years, three games between these two, a total of eight points combined in margin. In fact, each team has scored 66 points, and the home team has lost each one.

Would never have dreamed of this 3 or 4 years ago. It is possible to turn around a program with the right coach and some good talent. Kudos to Logan County.

Unbelievable!

What a win for Logan County... and my oh my has this program turned around in recent years or what?!?!?1

Congratulations Logan Co this is a really good win.

Congrats to Logan, I got to see them on film for the first time last week. The qb has a cannon for an arm.

Fantastic win for Logan County!! If anyone finds the last few plays on video please please share.

In case people out there are wondering...... Hightower is special. Wow

I saw video of last play on twitter (Maxpreps). Madisonville player tried to intercept ball instead of knocking it down. Bounced right to Logan County player.

Hightower had 44 carries for 307 yards and a score.

Tyler Ezell threw for 295 yards and three TDs, including the game-winning hail mary

Second district walk-off win for Logan in three years. They beat Hoptown on a QB keeper two years ago.

Most competitive district in 4A. 3 horse race with either team could win the district championship.

Big win for Logan. Congrats.

Should make for two very exciting playoff rounds to kick off the postseason.

If anyone is wondering Hightower is a BEAST and they are really good up front. It was a great physical football game!!! I thought both teams left it all on field and we just happened to be on the winning end last night.
