We are talking the best players in N.KY and people are on here just posting names of kids they like, or that are on their teams. Sometimes, we need to lock in and focus on the thread. Best players in N. KY. Some of these names HAVE TO BE for recognition only, as not all these kids are on the same level.

Agreed. For instance your number 4 guy as one of the best in NKY.

Where is Tyler Kaiser playing this year?

He left Ryle's team in January after heading to Ryle from St. Henry, where he saw a little bit of PT as a freshman. I'm assuming he's not headed back to St. Henry, but who knows. Seems like it would be tough to get back on a team you peaced out on. I wouldn't think he could get on any of the other teams in BCPS without a verified move, so if he's not back at St. Henry, his options are Calvary Christian, Villa, Heritage, Latin School, CCH, NCC, Holy Cross and Brossart.

It was mentioned earlier that some of the players named thus far are just some personal favorites rather than "Top 10" as were asked for in the original post. We've had 40 players named thus far - which is great. How about some folks try to put together a list of their top 10 from those named, like a few members have done thus far. Maybe even a top 15.

Here's a list of everyone mentioned so far. You're obviously still welcome to try to add in more names if there are any blaring omission from the discussion thus far, but let's see about getting a little more directed towards what the original post asked.

I notice a TON of underclassmen on that list. I like seeing that. Shows NKY is in good hands for years to come. I live in the Louisville area and I love watching the NKY teams play every year.

He is no longer playing basketball.

He's enrolled at Louisville Fairdale.

This makes for a terrific BGP Watchlist for me this upcoming season.

Should add Holy Cross senior guard Nate Niehaus. He will be one of the better 3-pt shooters in the 9th again this year.

Do you mean Joel iles? Jared iles graduated 2 years ago..

Juice - Yes, sorry you are correct. It is Joel Iles. Thanks for the correction.

Hands down I don't see Cooper beating the following teams this season: CCH, Beechwood, NCC, Conner. Now there's always upsets in sports, yet this year seems to be the weakest team Sully has had in at least 5+ years. He has NO returning varsity staters and a bunch of seniors that started JV last year. Only a few seniors this year received varsity minutes last year. Cooper graduated 7 or 8 seniors last year and 2 of those seniors barely saw quality varsity minutes last year. I know Sully will have his boys playing lockdown D...no doubt! Yet, it's concerning where the offensive scoring is going come from this year. There's no Sean McNeil or an Adam Kunkel that will put up 20-30 points a games on a consist basis. There's no S. Draud that's a light out shooter. Hopefully, 4-6 players can put up 8-12 points a game this year for the Jags. If anyone can put together a winning season in the 9th region, I believe Sully can do it. Best of luck to a team that lacks lots of varsity minutes from last year.

Jennings wouldn't be the guy I'd pick for Cooper at all. I look for him to be in foul trouble having to bang down low in the paint. I'd definitely go with Rabe, Centers if he can come back strong from his ACL injury. I think Pearson, Rollins, & Leitchy are going need to put up a good 25+ points together each game to help create offensive.
