Final.

It was close until late in the game.

October 18 should be a big night in Northern Kentucky.

Is it true SK is starting multiple sophomores on the line?

Nice game for the Birds. D looked to get faster as the night went on and just wore SK down in the 2nd half. Buten did not play but Brune has some really nice runs to seal the game in the 2nd half. Plenty of bright spots, and plenty to work on. I was really impressed with the SK quarterback. I would have NEVER guessed he’s a freshman. The kid has a bright future.

Congratulations to Highlands.

Lot of people said that it would not be close, Plus a running clock. Simon Kenton play that good or did Highlands not play that good? Just wondering because we don’t get to hear a lot our way just what on Bluegrass Preps.

Why did Buten not play?

About what I expected and said in the prediction thread. No running clock and not nearly as bad as others were predicting but still a 3 touchdown loss.

I’ve heard D1 schools are already looking at him. I think that’s what happens when a freshman starts at QB for a 6A team. Probably will be hard to beat by the time he’s a senior.

Why did Buten not play?

Still limiting his reps and letting him heal a nagging injury. A great showing from Brune to put the running game on his shoulders though.

Was Hammack a factor in the game? I heard he is a decent back.

Was expecting a running clock. Sk is not good this year.

Solid prospect, schools like OSU know his name already.
