November 26, 200619 yr USC was very impressive, took advantage of their opportunities and excellent overall team speed. Notre Dame, took themselves out of this one early in my opinion, with all the failed 4th down chances and not playing field position or kicking FG's. Trojans will be an excellent opponent for OSU and solidified, the #2 BCS ranking which will be announced soon.
November 26, 200619 yr Notre Dame's secondary is the worst in a major program that I have EVER seen, plain and simple...their offense is great but got bogged down in the red zone...they will do fine in their bowl if they play against a running team. I dunno RP, Nebraska's DB's this year would give them a run for their money for that honor. They are terrible also.
November 26, 200619 yr Notre Dame=Fraud Ive been saying this for a month and a half. It was only a matter of time before they were exposed for what they are.
November 26, 200619 yr Will ND play in a BCS Bowl? If eligible, YES. The BCS prefers $$$$ over good football teams.
November 26, 200619 yr I think the announcers stated that NDs placekickers longest FG is 40 yds. Is that right? They need to start recruiting KY. I have seen a few that can go 50. One was playing JV!
November 26, 200619 yr I'm shocked the series of games versus the Military Academies didn't have ND ready for this game. What a joke. They are legitimately a 10-15 team in the Country.
November 27, 200619 yr ND goes down by 20 again!!! 1st time in history a team gets beat by 20 twice in the same season and gets a BCS bid. Let's rematch them with Michigan for another exciting Rose Bowl.
November 27, 200619 yr Assuming they beat UCLA, I think the Trojans erased any doubt as to whether they were deserving of the spot over Michigan. I think USC has the best chance against OSU. 1) They are at the least equal to OSU in athleticism. 2) Pete Carroll is a better coach than Lloyd Carr.

But I will admit that I have a man crush on Pete Carroll. I have never seen a guy have so much fun. He is awesome.

I do not think that USC can run the ball, and I am not sold that Booty is good enough to run a one-dimensional offense against OSU. Do not judge Booty on the Notre Dame game, ND has no secondary. Even Zibby isn't playing the pass well.

Do not judge Booty on the Notre Dame game, ND has no secondary. Even Zibby isn't playing the pass well. Fine. Judge him on the rest of the season. Booty has looked good pretty much all season. I expected the Trojans to dominate the Irish...they should have, and I'm glad they did. I think most people that have watched the two teams much knew that USC had a pretty good chance at winning this one big. So, I'm not judging them based on one game...I'm just saying that some people were acting like they had to beat Notre Dame like Michigan did or else it would be a travesty for them to get in over the Wolverines. They did that. It should erase any doubt about Southern Cal.
