Notre Dame tight end Cole Kmet has said today he is declaring for the NFL draft. Good news for Michael Mayer.

I have heard there is discussion that Mayer might move to defensive end at Notre Dame. Has anyone else heard that? Notre Dame has the top two tight ends in the country signed, Mayer being one of them.
