Paris Johnson, who transferred from Cincinnati St. Xavier to Princeton High School in Cincinnati, was also on the list at #13, as was Reggie Grimes of Ravenwood (TN), who came in at #19.

Michael received his jersey for the 2020 All-American Bowl on Monday. Michael is currently the #1 ranked recruit in Kentucky for the Class Of 2020. He's the first All-American to have ever come out of the Cov Cath football program.

Great question, up until yesterday and the article I read, he was heading to Notre Dame in January. If that has changed, and apparently it has, basketball is at least feasibly possible (although I can't imagine he'll play, but who knows).

I clearly have no idea, as I said, I heard that for the first time in the article. News to me.

From the photos it looks like he can put on another 15 pounds or so in college. He'll really be tough to handle then (not that he isn't now). Good luck to him at Notre Dame.

He reason for staying is he wants to enjoy the rest of his senior year with his friends.

Great player and young man! Happy to see him be rewarded. I too thought he was leaving in December, I know that there are a couple private schools in Louisville that don’t allow it, does Cov Cath allow students to leave early? Not saying that’s the reason but I was just wondering.
