Reds vs. Giants (5/3 - 5/6)

Featured Replies

Farmer goes deep. Only problem...it's a solo shot. Still trail 6-5.

Just enough so Reds could lose another one run game.

Not to jump on the Sumoroyal train but this series was as disappointing as any over the last couple of years.

For those of you out there that say a top-notch closer isn't important, I'd point to this weekend.

Unreal Iglesias has now by himself lost 25% of the Reds games this season. Also 16 of their 34 games has been one run games.

What has happened to Igelias? He has five of the twenty loses plus gave up tying runs in the ninth several times like Friday. He has been terrible.

Yes Sumo, except for the 9 straight k’s he’s pretty much been just awful!!

Sucks they had decent leads in two games and blew them. Hopefully they salvage a split.

Yes, I thought that may have turned him around, but that did not happen.

The question that I have for Mr. Bell is this. Why did you take Garrett out of the game after getting one out in the top of the ninth? Answer, my BOOK told me to change pitchers despite fact that Mr. Garrett has done just as well against right handed batters as he has left.

The manager has cost them at least a half dozen games or more. Sometimes your gut feeling about how things are going is much better than what your analytics book says to do.

The new rules on pitchers and changing pitchers can't get here fast enough. This revolving door bullpen that Bell and other managers have is micro management.

Reds really missed the boat by not trading Iglesias when they had the chance. Dude is killing this team.

It's starting to look that way, but the young man hasn't made the trip down 71 very often (if at all). He has to still have options. If you're willing to send Cody Reed down after the way he looked the other day you HAVE to be willing to send the guy down that has 25% of your losses.

Heck David Bell should volunteer to drive him down and pick up Cody Reed or someone else in the process.

Actually, he has done better...much, much better. Left handers batting .261 against him. Right handers only .130.

Here's an amazing stat...Garrett has only faced 5 batters more than Duke this year. FIVE!

Them having a business day special on a Monday is really going to throw off my week. Glad the weather is nice today.

So tired of the revolving door line-ups. I'm sure the players are too. Wish he would pick his best line-up and stick with it. Beyond frustrating as a Reds fan.

Peraza in Left? It is no wonder this guy is not hitting the ball this year. These lineups look stranger and stranger by the day.
